A new session of Tai Chi Classes will begin on Monday, September 19th and will be held each Monday and Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. A new session of Yoga classes will begin on Wednesday, September 21st at 3:00 p.m. Pat Tomczyk, RN, will be the instructor for these classes.
The Dulcimer concert was wonderful! The Mountain Sounds entertained us and it was great. Thank you to all the members of the group. We look forward to hearing you again soon. The Mountin Sounds practice at the senior center twice a month.
DANCE: There will be a Masquerade Dance at the senior center on October 29th from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. No cover charge. Bring finger foods if you are hungry!
DULCIMER FOR SALE. We have a dulcimer for sale at the center. It needs a little work - restringing, etc. Priced at $150.
SilverSneakers Cardio Fit each Monday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. SilverSneakers Muscle Strength and Range of Motion classes each Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
Chair exercises Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m.
Our senior Wii Bowling League - The Lucky Strikes - played a great tournament. Congratulations to our awesome bowlers!
BUY A TICKET FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A QUILT!!!! $1 for one or $5 for six tickets. We have a Queen Size Nine Patch, a Full Size Basket design and a Full Size Cathedral Window Quilt we are selling tickets on. The proceeds from the sale of the Basket and Cathedral Window will be used for the home delivered meal program and the proceeds from the Nine Patch (queen size) will be used to start a fund for a newer van to transport the seniors. Photos of the quilts are on our website under "pictures". The drawing for the quilts will be held on December 9, 2011 - you DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!
